Worth knowing about the FLAC format

FLAC is the abbreviation of "Free Lossless Audio Codec" and unlike the mp3 format it means lossless data compression, which can be superior to the CD even in the case of a 24-bit resolution, but requires only about half of the data volume of a wav file. So FLAC files are lossless. The development of the open source document was created with the Xiph.Org Foundation. As a result of free disposal, a FLAC file is supported by most playback programs and operating systems and can also be used for streaming purposes. There are up to eight different sound channels.
